Far North Queensland is the only spot on the planet where two World Heritage Sites meet: the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest.

Although these two natural wonders are at the top of the list of things to see while in the area they are far from our only attractions.

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway is one of the world’s longest gondola cableway structures stretching 7.5 kilometres (4.7 miles), the Atherton Tablelands is a tableau of waterfalls and 1,000 year old fig trees.

Cairns Tropical Zoo is within walking distance from us. Hartley’s Creek Crocodile Farm with daily crocodile feeding is about 10 minutes drive north from Clifton Beach.

Port Douglas, a boutique tourist village, with it's world famous Four Mile Beach is halfway between Clifton Beach and Daintree Rainforest.

Skyrail - Kuranda Rainforest Cableway

Before crossing the Daintree River by ferry, we recommend you visit Daintree village and take a cruise on Daintree River to spot a crocodile.

You could also go bungee jumping, tandem parachuting, hot air ballooning, horse riding, sea kayaking or sailing, you could take a joyflight in a plane or in a helicopter – the choice is yours.

There are many great things to see and do in and around Clifton Beach.
